Roast: Medium-dark · Body: Heavy · Origin: Kintamani, Bali · Count: 12 pods
Volcanic-soil Balinese coffee, in a pod.
Kintamani sits on volcanic loam at 1,200–1,600 meters — the kind of soil that gives Balinese coffee its heavy body and dark, deep flavor. Hand picked, wet-hulled, and dried on raised beds by smallholder farmers, then roasted medium-dark. Dark chocolate, molasses, brown sugar. A pod for people who want something substantial in the morning.
If you like darker single-serve coffee but hate how bitter most K-Cup dark roasts are, this is the one to try.
Grower: Smallholder farmers of Kintamani · Altitude: 1,200–1,600 M · Process: Hand picked, wet-hulled, raised-bed dried · Varieties: Bourbon, Typica, Catimor · Soil: Volcanic loam
